Saudi Arabia is channeling billions into transformative mega-projects as part of an ambitious plan to position the nation for future global challenges. These projects are expected to reshape the Saudi economy, create countless job opportunities, and enhance quality of life.

Several senior executives involved in the NEOM megacity project are facing serious allegations of inappropriate behaviour and racism towards staff at various construction sites.  According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, evidence including recorded phone calls has surfaced, revealing that multiple executives made discriminatory remarks against employees.

Diriyah, one of Saudi Arabia’s so-called giga-projects, has agreed deals worth nearly $1bn with European firms and is in talks to attract more foreign capital, its CEO said.  The $63bn project is one of the Public Investment Fund’s giant construction efforts aimed at boosting economic growth and diversifying the oil-reliant kingdom’s economy.

Saudi Arabia to build Hydrogen City. It plans 600 tonnes per day and the most futuristic “octagonal plant” (not a city itself). It is not surprising that hydrogen is gaining such prominence, as we have seen it succeed in other instances, such as the hydrogen-powered invention you can put in your home.
